Rachel has worked in commercial archaeology since 2002, prior to this she was a planning consultant after graduating in 1999. She has amassed a wealth of experience in both urban and rural contexts on projects in the UK and Europe, including four years with the Museum of Copenhagen. As a project manager she has been responsible for successfully delivering desk-based and fieldwork projects across England, Scotland, and Wales from inception to archive deposition. She is a built heritage and conservation specialist, undertaking her Masters at the University of York, and has authored building surveys, historic area assessments, and conservation plans. In a consultancy role Rachel has authored numerous desk-based assessments, environmental impact assessment chapters, and heritage impact statements, successfully negotiating her client’s project through to completion.
