Mark has over 30 years’ experience in the commercial heritage and archaeological sector. After working in the private and public sectors for 15 years leading archaeological excavation teams, including 10 years as Edinburgh City Archaeologist, he joined Cotswold Archaeology in 1999 and was Head of Contracts until 2015, responsible for direction of all commercial activities. He also managed large complex projects, with a particular expertise in the delivery of archaeological services for urban developments and large infrastructure projects.
