Ian has worked in the commercial archaeology and heritage sector since 1981. He has been involved with a number of projects in Wales and England both in the field and undertaking post-excavation work including East Anglia ONE and HS2. He spent six years working at the Cadw listed Dyffryn House and Gardens. It was here he developed a specialism in designed landscapes and garden archaeology.
